The Role of the Business Development Rockstar
A Business Development Rockstar works to improve an organization’s market position and achieve sales that lead to financial growth. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and closes business deals to increase revenue. You will find new customers and manage existing clients and ensure they remain delighted.
Main Duties
- Generate sales from new and existing clients
- Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Plan approaches and pitches.
- Develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs.
- Ensure that data is accurately managed within the company’s CRM.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
